Sabah is also known for her great natural treasures which include the world-renowned Danum Valley Conservation Area and Tabin which is Sabah’s largest wildlife reserve.
About this holiday
This Borneo journey is a combination of a one night stop in Kota Kinabalu, a 3-night stay at the luxurious Borneo Rainforest Lodge, followed by 8 nights relaxing at the beautiful Gaya Island Resort.
You'll begin with a night on arrival in Kota Kinabalu. If you prefer to do something different, just let us know - everything can be tailored for you.
From Kota Kinabalu you'll fly to Lahad Datu and transfer to the Danum Valley for 3 nights at the award-winning Borneo Rainforest Lodge, the premier wildlife lodge in South East Asia. You have daily experiences included.
The second half of your Borneo adventure will be in the the Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park, just off the coast of Kota Kinabalu. This sizable Malaysian island has been protected as a reserve since the early 1920's.
Gaya Island Resort is a luxury resort offering some of the best accommodation in Borneo and is the ideal complement to a wildlife tour of Borneo.
We have included Gaya Island Resort on a Full Board basis on this itinerary but b&b is also an option, so just let us know your preference.
